Assistant Professor of Spanish
Tenure track
position to begin July 1, 2009. Ph.D. in hand by time of
appointment. Spanish-American literature and culture with
specialization in modern poetry. Teaching responsibilities include
all levels of language, literature, and culture. Native or
near-native fluency in Spanish and English, evidence of effective
teaching and scholarly potential.
Interest and/or experience in study abroad desirable. Affinities
with our area studies are encouraged: Latin American and Caribbean
Studies, Women's Studies, African-American Studies, etc. Interested
candidates should send a letter of application, CV, official
transcripts, and three current letters of recommendation to Prof.
