Beginning and Intermediate Italian --

Each 12 week semester the department attempts to offer one section of Elementary and another of Intermediate.  There is limited enrollment.

Beginning Portuguese --

Each spring the Department offers an intensive, six week beginning course in Portuguese, especially designed for those who intend to participate in W&L's Environmental Studies Program in Brazil.  W&L's Environmental Studies Program has a federally funded (no extra costs for students) 6 month exchange program--summer and fall term--with the Federal University of Amazonas and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
